US itek, Inc. offers an environmental disposal and end-of-life cycle management program for these systems that may be of benefit to you. For a reasonable fee, we can pick these systems up from your site and dispose of them by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation guidelines. If any of these systems contain sensitive data, we also offer a certified data destruction service. If you have a storage facility that has old hard drives containing sensitive data, and you haven't been able to determine an appropriate destruction process, we ensure complete destruction of the platters, rendering the data unobtainable. With this service, each hard drive can be physically tracked and documented while in our custody. A chain of evidence will be maintained for platters to forestall loss of control. Platters will be certified as destroyed, and copies of these certificates can be furnished upon request. We have the ability to recycle all major computer components from power supplies to hard drives to monitors. Our services will provide disposal and recycling of all materials that would otherwise cause environmental concerns.
