US itek RMA Policy

· An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number must be obtained from US itek prior to returning defective merchandise.

· An RMA number is only VALID for 14 business days. US itek MUST receive goods within 14 business days or the RMA will be voided. Any shipments using an RMA number older than 14 business days will be returned back to customer at the Customer's expense.

· A 15% restocking charge applies to all goods returned that are not defective.

· Refunds are issued for returned products within 30 business days after receiving. All in house credits will be applied towards future purchases. (Credit Memos are good for 60 days)

· Returned items will only be accepted in new re-sellable condition within 30 days of
the invoice date.

· Customers on Credit hold will not be issued an RMA until their account is up to date

· All items repaired or replaced under warranty will be shipped back freight prepaid by US itek.   


NOTE:
1.
Customer must pay one way shipping and handling (No Exceptions).

2. US itek does not pay insurance when shipping back to customer. Customer is 100% responsible for items shipped back from US itek. Customer may request for insurance and must cover the cost of insurance.

3. Any RMA product returned from the customer which has ”
no fault found
items will be sent back C.O.D. AND SERVICE CHARGES MAY BE LEVIED.

·  Most products carry a 1year US itek replacement warranty. US itek reserves the right to replace defective items with a comparable or remanufactured replacement when an item is no longer available.

·  US itek built systems with Operating System carry a 2 years Limited Parts & Labor Warranty.

·  US itek is not responsible for Data lost due to defects or repairs. You must backup your data prior to shipping. **US itek provides a pre-paid data backup service for $49. **

·  New branded MONITORS carry a 30 days D.O.A. US itek warranty. After 30 days the manufacturers warranty applies. (Some MONITORS carry a 1 year US itek Warranty)

·  PRINTERS and SCANNERS carry manufacturers warranty only.

·  SOFTWARE & Special Order items are non-returnable. (No Exceptions)

·  DOA (Dead on Arrival) product claims must be made within 7 business days of receiving product.

·  Defective closeout items are non-refundable; replacement items or Credit Memo will be issued. (No Exceptions)

·  NO CROSS SHIPMENT OF PRODUCT. (No Exceptions)

   Shipping Instructions

·  Returned items must be shipped by traceable carrier (tracking # provided):  – UPS, Fed Ex. Or DHL.

·  US Mail shipments are not recommended.

·  All returns must be properly packaged with appropriate packaging materials (anti static bags, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam peanuts are acceptable packaging). **Improperly packaged items could void warranties**

·  If items are damaged during shipping it is the customer’s responsibility for filing a claim with the shipping company.
 
·  US itek, inc. is not responsible for typographical errors. Policies and Warranties are subject to change without notice. US itek reserves the right to refuse or revoke repairs or warranties for any reason.
