David is the President and Founder of US itek, overseeing company strategy. David, an optimist, believes science and technology improve life. Impossible is not in his vocabulary, and he thrives under pressure. His roots in computer hardware dates back to the 1980s, taking apart and reassembling TRS-80 and IBM XT computers as a child. The journey in the technology business began as an 8-year-old merchant, selling surplus at Hamfests, county fairgrounds, computer shows throughout high school and college, culminating in retail and wholesale operations, mail order and ecommerce, selling tens of millions of dollars of computer hardware and ranked the number one system builder by CRN Magazine. Anticipating the commoditization of hardware, David pivoted to Managed Services in 2006, providing a strategic and proactive IT support model to small and medium sized businesses a decade before his competitors.
He has a passion for finding and remediating the pain points of technology, utilizing technology to reduce inefficiencies, and providing peace-of-mind security, the pillars of CareFree IT. "Technology Success", his business mantra, is a combination of best practices, where technology and security are strategic to his customers’ business goals.
David holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees, in Linguistics and in Geography/International Business from the University at Buffalo and participated in the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) program from the University at Buffalo School of Management in 2009. He also served two terms on the UB Alumni Association board of directors.
He is active in his community, over the years sitting on multiple committees at the Town of Tonawanda and the Kenmore Tonawanda Union Free School District. A leader in the IT community, he has sat as a Microsoft Partner Advisor, he is a public speaker at IT conferences, holds an Advisory Board position for the ASCII Group, an organization of 1400 IT providers, is an Xchange Board Advisor for The Channel Company, advising IT vendors of their programs and offerings, and runs an IT peer group. He has also sat on multiple panels including the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Small Business Economic Condition Business Leader Panel for over 7 years.
David is married with five sons and resides in Tonawanda. In his time away from the office, he enjoys reading, and traveling.

Nicola started working as the office assistant in 2015, her job focusing on purchasing, inventory, and helping improve and mainstream some of the inner office protocols. She is very organized and likes to take on new projects, so when the position of finance coordinator became available, she was happy to take on the new responsibilities. As the Finance Coordinator, she is in charge of all accounting functions and her duties include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, preparing budgets and financial statements and being responsible for keeping pertinent records and handling relevant inquiries.
Outside of work, Nicola loves spending family time with her 3 daughters. She likes to be active outdoors, loves game nights, and walking their 3 dogs. In the winter, Nicola coaches Varsity hockey and since everyone in the family plays on various hockey teams, most likely you’ll find her at a rink around WNY.

Carson is an Infrastructure Engineer at US itek with nearly a decade of experience engineering and managing IT infrastructure across Western New York. His technical command covers Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Cisco networking, PowerShell automation, and ConnectWise platform administration, with deep experience in hybrid identity management and NIST compliance frameworks. Carson doesn’t just keep the lights on — he builds the systems, automations, and processes that make IT invisible in the best possible way: reliable, secure, and out of the way of the people who depend on it. Beyond the day job, Carson is the kind of engineer who doesn’t stop tinkering when he gets home. From autonomous irrigation systems to a self-hosted home lab where he stays hands-on with the latest technologies, he’s constantly exploring what’s next — and figuring out how to put it to work. Outside of that, he enjoys spending time with his wife Hannah and their two sons, Micah and Dominic. When he isn’t with his family, Carson pursues a serious passion for aviation and flight simulation — currently working toward building a fully functional, physical Airbus A320 cockpit simulator. It’s the kind of project that says everything about how he approaches any challenge: methodically, ambitiously, and with an eye toward getting every detail right.
Hobbies: Aviation and Flight Simulation
